Chinese Creation Legend

Chinese Creation Legend
From primeval chaos matter was formed which eventually divided into Yang and Yin, the male and female principles. From these arose Pan-Ku, a giant, from whose body the world and our solar system were composed.
Shang-Ti and Tien, the heaven gods, appear to have been imported from northern China about 2000 B.C. Their relationship to the Creation is purely abstract. The Deluge myth of Kung-Kung tells how he caused the Deluge by butting down the pillars of heaven with his head, thereby causing the collapse of the firmament.
